The village of Aldington has a population of approximately 1,500. The local amenities are a Post Office, village hall, pub (the Walnut Tree) and an Anglican church. Residents are supported and encouraged to be part of the local community and use the facilities.
Getting around - There is a daily bus service to the large town of Ashford where there are many community amenities, two large shopping complexes and bus and international train services. Hamstreet Station is approximately 5 miles away with trains to Ashford, London, Canterbury and Hastings. The residents have access to the fleet of Trust vehicles, and the Trust's minibus.
