The local school has excellent leisure facilities available. Residents are supported and encouraged to be part of the local community and use the facilities.

Getting around - There are regular bus services to the towns of Folkestone / Ashford / Dover where there are many more community amenities, large shopping complexes and bus / train services.

The Eurotunnel Shuttle and the ports of Folkestone and Dover ferries / Hoverspeed to France are all within half an hour's drive. The house also has use of the Trust's fleet of vehicles.
