Homelands

HOMELANDS is a listed 17th Century house situated 8 miles from Ashford.

We currently have no vacancies at this property.

The house is very spacious with extensive views over Romney Marsh. There are 8 individual bedrooms and four bathrooms. The large lounge has an amazing inglenook fireplace. There is also a leisure area with wood burning stove, dining room and kitchen. The gardens are beautiful and laid to lawn with flower beds. There is also an area for growing fruit and vegetables so plenty of opportunity for those with green fingers.

The local amenities are a Post Office, village hall, pub and an Anglican church. Residents are supported and encouraged to be part of the local community and use the facilities.

Getting around there is a daily bus service to the large town of Ashford where there are many community amenities, two large shopping complexes and bus/train services. Hamstreet Station is approximately 5 miles away with trains to Ashford, London, Canterbury and Hastings. The house also enjoys use of the Trust's fleet of vehicles.
