The Legendary Route Day 8. The Penultimate Day!

We've finally made Cornwall. The final county in our massive bike ride and camping at Launston Rugby club.

Quite a journey starting in Somerset, through Yeovil and down through the entire county of  Devon incl Dartmoor.

The wind had changed but only in that it was stronger and still in our faces.

All lovely country side but again, very very hilly (check the ascent) just like yesterday which was a struggle against the high winds with tired legs from yesterday. Only one soaking today!

Missing a nice mattress, tea in a mug and metal cutlery amongst many, other home comforts.

Also made some great new friends!

Really tired now with our 8th consecutive 100+ mile days and another climbing day today.

Stats for the day;

Start; 7.09am

Miles 107.13

Ave speed 10.71 mph due to the hills and wind.

Ascent. 8198ft

Time in saddle 10hrs

Calories 6140
