BE THE EXCEPTION!

BOOST YOUR ENERGY LEVELS THIS YEAR AND SET A PERSONAL BEST

One of the most popular promises made at the beginning of a new year is to get in shape, with an estimated 19% of the population resolving to improve their fitness. However, as we all know our good intentions don’t always last very long and just 8% actually achieve their goals. If you want to break the trend this year though and be the exception, why not take part in one of our many active events? With everything from running, rowing, cycling and obstacle courses, we have a whole range of activities to keep your heart racing.

The first exciting event we have planned is the Dirty Dozen Assault Course (right).Taking place on the 5th and 6th April, this military style obstacle course is designed by ex British Special Forces and is sure to push you to the limit and put your fitness to the test.

For those of you who are light on your feet, we have plenty of running events planned for you in the summer and kicking these off on the 18th May is our Super Hero run in Regents Park (below left). Combining exercise and entertainment, witnessing all your favourite super heros running together is a sight to behold.

Shortly after, this Super Hero fun run is followed by the London to Brighton 100km Walk/Run on the 24th and 25th May. One of our most well known events, this is not for the lighthearted and will require some serious training – perfect for keeping you focused on your fitness as the year continues.

To finish off our wonderful summer of running events, we are also recruiting participants for the British 10k London run. Described as the world’s greatest route, this race is taking place on the 14th July and passes through the heart central London, allowing you to take in some of the city’s most iconic sights and raise money for a good cause.

The fun doesn’t end this summer and carrying on well into the autumnal season, we have yet another prestigious event planned; the London to Paris bike ride (right). Taking place in August, this is infamous event finishes under the Eiffel Tower and touring through not just one but two iconic cities, this is an incredible challenge.

Ending the year on a high note, our last event is the Dragon Boat race on the 13th and 14th September. Taking place at the beautiful Bewl Water, this is the largest event of its type in Europe with a total of 85 teams competing. Set in an idyllic country park and reservoir, this is a fantastic way to finish such an active and exciting year.

With a whole host of energetic events planned for 2014, we have lots to keep you busy and to give your fitness goals a boost. Always encouraging new participants and sponsors, we would love to hear from you and whether it’s running, walking, cycling or rowing we have something for everyone. So, what are you waiting for? Make a change this year and make 2014 a year to remember…
