Corporate Volunteering

Sometimes it's good to get out of the office.

"I really enjoyed the opportunity to give some of my time to such a good cause…I found it quite inspirational the way COT supports adults with learning disability to live independently and take control of their lives.” DWP employee, volunteering on our Horticulture Project

Canterbury Oast Trust is very fortunate to have many organisations come and volunteer with us as a team; taking the opportunity to spend time together out of the office environment and supporting our work at the same time.

We’ve always got lots to do on the farm and it’s amazing the difference a team of people can make in a day.

Our charity needs help with a diverse range of activities to suit groups of all sizes and abilities. All get people working as a team, using their skills and having fun together! Some examples are:

  • Redecorating in our residential homes
  • Conservation work
  • Building flower beds with our students on our horticulture training project
  • Helping the site get ready for seasonal activities

If you would like to spend the day helping our charity, we would love to hear from you!

Your help means such a lot

“We really appreciate the time given, and the hard work that Volunteers bring to the much needed tasks that we are unable do. It makes such a big difference to us” Margaret Eva, House Manager, Farm House.
