Ringway Group
- Masters of the Road

It's not often you get to celebrate roadworks but take a moment to cheer the efforts of volunteers who helped put the Rare Breeds Centre at Woodchurch, near Ashford, on the right track.

The team from Ringway, the surfacing specialists, laid a 250-yard asphalt road at the Centre to provide better access for tractors and visitors. It was completed with minimum fuss over two weekends. Canterbury Oast Trust would particularly like to thank John Martin, Paul Catt from Ringway and Andy Padgham from Kent Highway Services.

The Trust showed its appreciation of Ringway's volunteer road masters with an official opening on October 7th 2009.

David Jackson, CEO, said "Canterbury Oast Trust are grateful and very appreciative to Ringway for this generous donation in kind. Sound infrastructure at The Rare Breeds Centre is vital to safety and success. This new road, which has been completed by Ringway workers in their own time, is an outstanding gift to our Charity".
