OLD SCHOOL HOUSE is home to 8 people of varying ages (all adults) and abilities who have learning disabilities.

Old School House was purpose built by Downland Housing Association in 1993. It is situated close to the amenities of New Romney.

The property has 8 residential bedrooms (each with washhand basin), three bathrooms with showers and 2 separate toilet. There is also a lounge, dining room, large kitchen, utility room, 2 offices/staff sleep-in rooms. There is also a garden with patio area.

New Romney provides a full range of shops and facilities close at hand including a Post Office, banks, supermarkets, public houses, clubs, and churches. The local school has excellent leisure facilities available.

There are regular bus services to the towns of Folkestone / Ashford / Dover where there are many more community amenities, large shopping complexes and bus / train services.

The Eurotunnel Shuttle and the ports of Folkestone and Dover ferries / Hoverspeed to France are within half an hours drive.

 

The house also has the use of a minibus and other vehicles.

Service users are actively encouraged to use the facilities in their local community.
