HOLLY COTTAGE is a modern
purpose built bungalow on the Highlands Farm site. It is home
for 5 men and women with learning disabilities.
Highlands Farm is also known as the South of England Rare
Breeds Centre which is a tourist attraction offering training
to people with learning disabilities.
The Rare Breeds Centre is home to several of COT's life skills
projects offering involvement in farming, horticulture, catering,
art and crafts. There is a sensory room on site.
The property has a kitchen which is adjacent to the dining area
and lounge, utility room, 5 bedrooms plus an office / staff bedroom,
bathroom / shower room with toilet plus an additional separate
toilet. There is a communal garden and patio area with B-B-Q.
Service users area actively encouraged to use the facilities
in their local community.

Highlands Farm is situated on the B2067 between Hamstreet
and Tenterden. In the village of Woodchurch there is a church,
village hall, 2 public houses, post office, general stores and
doctors' surgery. There is an hourly bus service to Ashford or
Tenterden where there are many amenities e.g. leisure centre,
cinemas, shopping centres, library and bowling alley. There is
a main line station with trains to London, Canterbury and Dover
