HARRINGTON COTTAGE is a detached property situated in the village of Aldington some 8 miles from the town of Ashford.
The house is lovely and secluded in its own grounds with extensive views over Romney Marsh. It provides 6 individual residential bedrooms, has bathroom and shower room, a large communal lounge and dining room.
The gardens have attractive lawns and flower beds and our residents enjoy maintaining this area. The Trust's Poulton Wood and Harrington College offer development opportunities and are very close to Harrington Cottage.
The village of Aldington has a population of approximately 1,500. The local amenities are a Post Office, village hall, pub (the Walnut Tree) and an Anglican church. Residents are supported and encouraged to be part of the local community and use the facilities.
Getting around - There is a daily bus service to the large town of Ashford where there are many community amenities, two large shopping complexes and bus and international train services. Hamstreet Station is approximately 5 miles away with trains to Ashford, London, Canterbury and Hastings. The house also has the use of the Trust's fleet of vehicles.
