Seeking volunteers for Poulton Wood

We are seeking volunteers for our Poulton Wood nature reserve based in Aldington, near Ashford, Kent.  Situated in 10 hectares of beautiful ancient woodland Poulton Wood Nature Reserve operates as a life skills conservation project, owned and supported by Canterbury Oast Trust, a charity that supports adults with learning disabilities.  Volunteers will be involved in helping out alongside the service users (Rangers) with traditional coppice management of the woodland, crafts and woodcrafts and horticulture and nature studies.

So if you enjoy woodwork and being outdoors and have the time to be part of our amazing organisation then we would love to hear from you.  To find out more about this volunteering opportunity please contact Jane Kirkham at [email protected] or call on 01233 861493.  All volunteering roles will require a criminal record check.
