Moat & Places for People support COT

On Saturday 4th August the people at Moat and Places For People organised a Fun Day on the playing fields of Linden Grove Primary School in Stanhope.

This was their 3rd year holding the event which promotes local companies and groups, raises awareness of the work of Moat and Places for People and brings the community together.

They also try to raise money for local charities and this year they chose to support COT and Pilgrims Hospice.

They raised a fantastic  £190 for each charity through a merry-go-round ride and a bumper raffle which companies such as Asda, Givaudan and Go Ape kindly donated prizes to.

A big thank you to everyone at Places For People, Moat and their tenants for their great donation and for choosing to support Canterbury Oast Trust!
