Should a tenant want the quiet life then the Romney Marsh is close by. A ten minute walk takes you into the quiet of the Marsh for lovers of the seaside the sea, sand and dunes are only one mile away.

COT Community Support Services CSS epresents an ability for the Trust to provide people who are ready or able to take more control of their lives with quality housing.

Each tenant has a Tenancy Agreement made between COT and the tenant. COT has always promoted the treatment of people as individuals and CSS provides us with the opportunity to offer an alternative to residential care.

The Tenancy Agreement states what will be provided in terms of housing, provision of utilities, furniture, equipment, health and safety, maintenance etc.

The tenant has options to take other service provision but does not have to take everything that is on offer. For example, in addition to the Tenancy Agreement, COT can provide the use of vehicles and have separate agreements for any person who wants to take part in the scheme.

The Tenancy Agreement does not cover the provision of support to provide food, clothing, education, recreation. Should a tenant require assistance in any of these activities then a separate care contract is agreed on an individual basis. Tenants also have the choice to contract to use the Life Skills Services provided by COT or other providers.
