The charity Credo Care has generously donated £250 to the Rare Breeds Centre / Canterbury Oast Trust. The money is to be used to support our activities at the Rare Breeds Centre and other projects such as forestry at Poulton Wood or academic training at Harrington College. Credo Care is a pioneering specialist fostering agency that focuses on providing loving homes for children with autism, medical needs, physical disabilities or learning disabilities. It was founded in 2000 by Bishop Damian Mead and Mr Roy Hipkiss to provide a resettlement service, helping children to move from residential placements to dedicated foster carers. Without the support and expertise of an organisation like Credo Care, 50-70% of placements experience disruption. The unique approach of Credo Care through the use of a detailed and thorough matching procedure has virtually eliminated this risk.
