The Shops with Body and Soul

Fifteen managers from a well known retailer put their body & soul into helping smarten up the Rare Breeds Centre.

They were from Body Shop stores all across the South East and as part of their corporate day they put something back into the community by doing some painting for us. One group gave the farm shop a makeover and the other spruced up the Discovery Zone.

They also donated a bag of Body Shop merchandise worth £200 which was put in the raffle at the Volunteers' Lunch and provided some happy winners.

One member of the group was so impressed with what she saw that she promised to come back. Emma Carney was as good as her word and another group came in August to paint the ice-cream hut on site.
